After reconstruction of the Kiev river station which now is in high gear, it will have to change in to very luxurious construction. According to Anna Gregory, the president of the supervisory board of the Kiev port claims, there will be the restaurant on the second floor.

Besides, the facility of popular Moscow restaurateur Arcady Novikov will function here. The same floor will contain a banquet room for festive events. Two more floors will be constructed, a traffic intersection is planned to place on the level below, therefore, the building of the River station from the side of the road will become four-storeyed.

The third floor will be occupied by gallery of painter Ilya Chichkan, on the roof of the building discos will be carried out at night. Under a cone-shaped spike of a roof the glass room will be constructed, in this room beloved will be able to spend romantic evenings. The adjoining territory will also be improved. Beer tents from the embankment will be demolished, instead of them the cafe will be constructed. According to price, reconstruction of port will cost to the city 5 million dollars.

The exact expiration date of this grandiose reconstruction isn’t announced yet. And whether these «Napoleonic plans» will really be realized it is unknown.
