The unique eco-hotel «Kristall» will be constructed exactly in the middle of the Norwegian fjord. It becomes the first floating hotel in Europe, in which it will be possible to enjoy the beauty of the polar lights, lying in a bed. The hotel with the glass roof, designed in the form of a six-pointed snowflake with the peak-to-peak value a big way rays of 120 meters, will float in one of the most beautiful and environmentally friendly places of a planet where it is possible to watch the polar lights — nearby the city of Tromsa.

The design of hotel was developed by the Netherlands architectural bureau Waterstudio together with the Dutch Docklsnds company which is the world leader on construction of floating constructions, including hotels. According to the project, in Kristall hotel there will be 86 rooms of five-stars level, and also restaurants, Spa salons, a conference room, and gyms. Staff and lodgers will be delivered in hotel by sea transport.

The beginning of the construction works is scheduled to summer of 2015, and «snowflake» will be able to accept the first visitors approximately in December, 2016.
