The Karenjy company reanimated after 15 years of idle time, provided a new creation of Mazana 2. This car is built completely manually, only it has neither window regulator electric drive, nor safety cushions.
The only automobile vendor of the island of Madagascar the Karenjy company provided a prototype of the new creation of Mazana 2. The novelty will start being on sale in the middle of 2015, annually the plant will release up to 200 vheicles.
Similar rates, certainly, can’t be compared to the supply of the world leaders of automotive industry. But Karenjy has a unique difference: all its cars are assembled manually. Simply because there are no assembly conveyor or robots at the plant . All assembly is realized by 70 workers.
Among technical features we will mark the engine from the 112 hp Peugeot, and also confident passability on off road terrain what is the extremely important for this car, considering, on what roads it should go. Outside the island the car hardly will appear as it is supposed to be only for internal deliveries.
As for a «stuffing», Mazana 2 have neither safety cushions, nor navigation system, the window regulator electric drive, to say nothing about the air conditioning. But this car is much cheaper than those which are imported on the island. «We will carry out calculation of all prime cost of our car, and then we will declare, how much it will cost, — the head of the Relais company owning Karenjy, Luke Ronsen declared. — But it will be very competitive».
