Now selfie can make even fur-seals, but popular self-inflicted pictures are already almost one hundred years old. The photo dated 1920 emerged in a network. And, by all appearances, it was the first selfie in the world.
On the ancient picture there are five men posing before a camera. And they are on the roof of Marceau Studio on the the Large apple spires background.
It appears, these gentlemen were the employees of one popular photographic studio Byron Company, that starts its history from 1892.
And the second photo is dated back to the same year. It shows from the side, how selfie was made at that time. 
It isn’t said for nothing, all new is well forgotten old.
