Hackers can get an access to Skype and Facebook using a newly discovered vulnerability in iOS, writes Business Insider. The attack is called «Mask» («Masque») and uses «schema theft links», assuring the user of safety of the installed application.
At a click on the link of hackers iOS starts automatically download scumware that looks exactly like the original Facebook, Skype or Twitter. If these agents are already installed, so the original one is replaced with a forgery. Then the user uses the application in normal mode, while access to his confidential data is already available to the hackers.
